I just got home to snowy Chicago after one of my best vacations yet in St. Barths. I can’t wait to share all my outfits and restaurant recommendations with you. We stayed in a villa provided by Wimco in Grand-Cul-de-Sac with the beach just steps away.
This was the first time I ever wore a one-piece and I have to say I may be switching to them more often. This one especially is very comfortable and easy to wear around the villa. I normally don’t wear one-piece because I want to get tan but I wore this when there was a little but of overcast so I didn’t feel like I was losing out on a tanning opportunity.
If you’re in to comfy dresses like I am you will definitely need to add this Alice and Olivia sweater dress to your closet for this fall. It’s nice and lightweight for packing but will also keep you warm into the winter!
Slide into fall with these amazing fur slides. These performance sandals once worn by soccer players off the turf have evolved into stylish slide that are embellished with fur and jewels. Rihanna has been spotted in the Puma ones and Kim K has been seeing wearing the Givenchy ones, so naturally, we all need to get a pair or two!
I’m always on the hunt for new comfy sweatpants that are still cute. I found these Sweet Pants in a blue army print that I’m in love with. They’re super comfortable but you can also be caught wearing them out of the house.
Dress: A.L.C.I had the honor of attending two fashion week events with Vogue this past weekend. The first was the opening of Saks Fifth Avenue Downtown, which I must say I was blown away. The store is huge and has several great pieces for the fall, I couldn’t resist the Alice and Olivia jacket. I ended the night by going to Pasquale Jones for dinner in Nolita. The food was amazing, I highly recommend trying the rigatoni. The next night was an event at Spring Place which was also home to some of the runway shows. The mini prosecco bottles with straws was such a cute idea for a cocktail party!
Starbucks’ pumpkin spice latte has finally hit stores, but does that mean summer is over? I’m not ready to accept it and neither is the weather apparently. It’s been hotter than ever here in Chicago these past few days. But back to the PSL here are my fall necessities to go along with this delicious drink…when the times comes…
This past weekend was my first weekend back in Chicago for the year. It was great catching up with everyone and meeting up with some old friends that just moved to Chicago. I love hearing from friends where they go out in cities since online reviews aren’t always accurate and people have different tastes in what they like. I’m now going to included places in go in the cities in my outfits so if you think you have the same taste as me you can get an idea of where to go from someone similar to you. If you have any questions feel free to comment!
I started my weekend in the West Loop which is the new trendy area. I met some of my college friends at Lone Wolf. It was a nice little bar where you can actually talk to people but still have fun. We then headed over to Federales. It has a great patio that’s fun while the weather is still nice out, but the inside is just as great.
The next night I had dinner at MAD Social. The food was incredible! All the dishes were very interesting, my favorite being the chicken and churro waffles. I spent most of my weekend in the West Loop but ended Saturday night a little closer to me at Stout. I love this bar because it’s sort of like a hybrid of a bar and a club and the music is always great!
Hi everyone! I’ve been so busy with my first year of law school but don’t worry the blog is back! I had my fair share of travelling this summer and am ready to share with you some city “necessities” along with some new fall looks. I’m loving these high waisted Parker pants with big flare bottoms. I had a hard time picking a top to match because all of my black tops worked with it. Such an easy pant to wear and throw on to dress up. If you’re in the Toronto area make sure to check them out at Canopy Blue.
Well, I thought I was about to skip my first winter in Chicago but it seems like that all changed this past weekend. It was the most bipolar weather I have ever witnessed. There truly were all four seasons in one day; there was a snowstorm then sun with warm weather and back to snowing within the minutes. A little snow won’t stop me from believing summer is almost here though! I thought I would share with you some of my favorite bikinis for all of you out there starting to plan your summer vacations. I have a serious bikini problem and can’t wait for this weather to warm up so I can start buying some more!
I’m back!!! I took quite an extended break from blogging since I just started my first year of law school in the fall. So what better than to have my first post be about my law school ball. The evening was spent at the Chicago History Museum and for the first time in a long time I was able to wear a gown. It’s basically reliving the glory days of high school prom but this time with an open bar!
